It's an official qualification from the Ministry of Education. Explora is authorised by the regional education authority and the Ministry (centre code 28082939). Your diploma won't say 'online' or 'in person': it's the same document you'd receive from an in-person IES (Spanish secondary school).

It's 100% online, with no fixed timetable. The format is designed for people who work, have children or run a household. Classes are recorded, so you can watch them when it suits you. Of our students, 55% are over 25 and combine vocational training with work or family responsibilities.

The final exam is in person and compulsory. It takes place once a year, around May. Your grade is based on 70% work completed at home (quizzes, simulations and case studies) and 30% the in-person exam. There's also an additional exam sitting in June, so May isn't your only chance.

We do. Our placements team handles it with you from start to finish and finds a company that fits your programme and goals. If you can document at least one year of full-time work (about 1,800 hours) in a related role, you can apply for an exemption.

Yes, and we take it seriously. We work with more than 200 partner companies in technology, healthcare, administration and other fields. Passing is only part of it: we want to see you sign an employment contract. Our team stays with you until you find a job.

For Intermediate Level: compulsory secondary education (ESO), Basic Vocational Training, a Level 2 Professional Certificate or an entrance exam. For Higher Level: the Bachillerato, another Higher Level qualification, a Level 3 Professional Certificate or an entrance exam. Your advisor will check your situation in a 15 minute call.

Yes. Modules with the same code and name as those in your previous vocational qualification are recognised automatically. If you have a university degree, module recognition is only available for Higher Level programmes and goes through the Ministry. Work placements (FFE) and the Intermodular Project module cannot be recognised this way. Your advisor will map out what can be recognised before you enroll.

Intermediate Level: 1,400 hours. Higher Level: 2,000 hours. Both take two academic years, including company placements. Classes start in the first week of October, and enrolment stays open until the last week of that month. If you're joining later, we'll be direct about it.

You have two exam sittings each academic year: the regular one in May and an additional one in June, with up to four sittings per module overall. If things get difficult, your tutor will help rearrange your plan so you know what to focus on for the exam. We won't leave you on your own halfway through the course.

Yes, as long as Spain's Ministry of Education has recognised your previous qualification. All teaching is 100% online, so you can log in from anywhere. You must take the final in-person exam in Spain in May. If your qualification hasn't been recognised yet, your advisor will guide you through the process.
